Reporting a listing

Updated 15 Sep 2026

Every adviser's page has a "Report it" link at the foot, and every review has "Report this review" beneath it. A report goes to Sussed and is checked by a person. This page says what you can report, what to expect, and what we can and can't change.

Reporting a listing

Press "Report it" at the foot of the adviser's page and choose what's wrong:

  • This person is not a mortgage adviser.
  • A fact from the public record looks wrong or out of date.
  • Something the adviser wrote is misleading.
  • Someone else has claimed this profile.
  • Something else.

Add anything that helps us check, and your email address if you'd like a reply. Neither is required.

Reporting a review

Press "Report this review" under the review and choose what's wrong: the reviewer wasn't a client, it's about a different adviser, it's abusive or contains personal information, it looks fake or paid for, or something else. A reported review is marked as flagged and stays visible until we've looked at it.

What happens to a report

It goes to Sussed and we check it by hand. If you gave an email address and we need more, we'll ask. If a listing shouldn't be here, it comes off. If a review breaks the rules, we hide it and record why; nobody else can hide a review, not even the adviser it's about.

What we can't change

The facts on a profile that came from the public record, such as a name, a licence holder or a business address, aren't ours to edit. They change when the record changes, at our next monthly copy. If one is wrong, the adviser can correct it with the Companies Office, and your report tells us to keep an eye on it.

If you're the adviser

If you're the adviser on the page and you'd rather not be listed, use "Ask to be taken off Sussed" beside the report link instead. Leaving Sussed explains how that works.
