Terms
These are the terms for using Sussed, run by Miju Ltd ("we"). Using the site means you accept them. They're short because the service is simple. Last updated 8 September 2026.
What Sussed is
Sussed is a directory of New Zealand mortgage advisers and a way to ask one of them for an introduction. We are not a financial adviser, a lender or a broker, and nothing on the site is financial advice. The advisers listed are independent of us: they hold their own licences, give their own advice, and are responsible for it.
Facts about advisers come from the Financial Service Providers Register and are shown with the date we took them. Anything else on a profile was written by the adviser. We check that an adviser who claims a profile is who they say they are; we don't check the quality of their advice, and a listing on Sussed is not a recommendation.
If you're looking for an adviser
- Sussed is free for you. We're paid by advisers only if you go on to sign a loan offer with them, and that doesn't change what you pay them, which is usually nothing.
- When you send a request, you're asking us to pass your details to one adviser at a time in the way the privacy page describes, and you agree we may do that. Give us accurate details; an adviser who can't reach you may tell us so.
- What happens between you and an adviser is between you and them. We introduce; we don't take part in the advice, the application or the loan, and we're not responsible for what an adviser does or doesn't do.
- Reviews must be honest, your own, and about an adviser you were actually a client of. We publish them as written and remove only those that break these terms, with the reason recorded.
If you're an adviser
- You may claim only your own profile, and you must be the registered adviser it describes. We may withdraw a claim we find was made by someone else.
- What you add to your profile must be true, yours to publish, and within what your licence allows you to say. You're responsible for it. We may take down content that breaks these terms or the law, and we'll tell you why.
- Introductions are offered one at a time, with a deadline. Accepting one releases the homeowner's details to you and costs nothing. A fee is due only if that person signs a lender's loan offer with you within 12 months of the introduction, at the price shown before you accept and published on the advisers page. Declining, or not answering, costs nothing. Within seven days of accepting you may tell us you couldn't reach the person.
- The details we release to you are for responding to that person's request. Don't add them to a marketing list or pass them to anyone else.
- Fees are invoiced on the 1st of each month for the previous month's signed loan offers, and are payable by the 20th of that month. We may pause introductions to an account with an overdue invoice.
- You can pause introductions or remove your profile at any time from your account. Removing it takes down what you added and stops introductions; it doesn't cancel fees already due.
- You may reply to a review or flag it; you may not edit, remove or pay for reviews, or invite reviews from people who weren't your clients.
The usual things
- We work hard to keep the site accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be either. Register facts can lag the register by up to a month.
- To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for loss arising from using the site, from an adviser's advice or conduct, or from a request that didn't lead to an introduction. Nothing here limits rights you have under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993 that can't be excluded.
- Don't scrape the site, interfere with it, or use it to send unsolicited messages. We may block anyone who does.
- Register data is © MBIE and licensed CC BY 4.0. The rest of the site is ours or the advisers'.
- These terms are governed by New Zealand law. If we change them in a way that matters, we'll say so here with the date.
