Reviews on Sussed come from two places only: clients you invite, and clients Sussed introduced to you. This page covers how to invite, what the client fills in, what appears on your profile, and what you can and can't do with a review once it's published.
Inviting past clients
From Reviews in your account:
- By email. Enter up to 20 addresses at a time, one per line or comma separated. Each gets its own link, good for 30 days. An address that has already reviewed you is skipped. The table under the form shows when each invitation was sent, opened and answered, or that it expired.
- With your personal link. Put it in your email signature or send it yourself. Anyone with the link can leave one review per email address. "Make a new link" replaces it, and the old one stops working.
- From an introduction. Once a client's details have been released to you, their card on your dashboard offers "Invite to review". It sends the same email, once per client.
Clients Sussed introduced
When a client tells one of our check-ins that they signed a loan offer with you, or that they didn't go ahead, they are offered the review form. Those reviews are labelled "Via a Sussed introduction"; the ones you invite are labelled "Invited by you".
What the client fills in
The reviewer confirms they were your client in the last two years, then gives what you helped them with and the year, a rating from 1 to 5, whether they'd use you again, and a review of 60 to 1,000 characters in their own words. They add their first name, their district if they want it shown, and their email address, which is never shown. We email them a link, and the review is published when they click it, as written. One review per email address per adviser.
What appears on your profile
Each review shows the reviewer's first name and district, what you helped with and when, its source, the stars, whether they'd use you again, the text, and your reply if you've written one. Once three reviews are published, your profile and your card in the results show the average and how many would use you again, always with the number of reviews it comes from. Below three, the reviews are shown without a score.
Replying and flagging
You can reply to any review, once, publicly. The reply appears under the review with the date, and you can edit it later. If something is wrong with a review, flag it from the Reviews page and say why: the review stays visible while we look, and only Sussed can hide one, with the reason recorded. You can't edit, remove or pay for reviews, and you can't invite people who weren't your clients. Anyone reading your profile can report a review too, and we look at those the same way.
