Reviews on Sussed come only from an adviser's own clients, and every review says how it got there. This page covers how you're asked, what the form wants, what is published, and what the adviser can and can't do with it.
How you're asked
Two ways:
- Your adviser invites you. They send you an email with your own link, which works for 30 days, or give you the link they share with all their clients.
- After a Sussed introduction. When you tell one of our check-in emails that you signed a loan offer with the adviser, or that you didn't go ahead, the page that follows offers you the review form.
There is no other way in: nobody can review an adviser they weren't a client of.
The form
You confirm you were a client of the adviser in the last two years, then say what they helped you with and in which year, give a rating from 1 to 5, say whether you'd use them again, and write between 60 and 1,000 characters in your own words: what they did, how it went, what you'd tell a friend. You add your first name, your district if you'd like it shown, and your email address, which is never published.
Publishing
We email you a link. Your review is published the moment you click it, as written, and nothing is shown until then. If you didn't write it, ignore the email and nothing is published.
What appears on the adviser's profile
Your first name and district, what they helped you with and when, the stars, whether you'd use them again, your words, and a label saying either "Invited by [the adviser]" or "Via a Sussed introduction". Once an adviser has three published reviews, their profile and their card in the results show the average and how many reviewers would use them again.
What the adviser can do with it
Reply to it, publicly and once, under your review. That is all. They can't edit it, remove it, or choose which reviews are shown. If they think a review breaks the rules, they can flag it for us, and it stays visible while we look. Only Sussed can hide a review, and we record the reason when we do.
Limits and changes
One review per email address per adviser. If you need to change or remove a review you've written, email us from the address you used.
