Signing in

Updated 9 Oct 2026

There is no password on Sussed. You log in with your email address, and each time we send you a link.

Logging in

  1. Press "Log in" in the header, or go to the login page.
  2. Enter your email address and press "Send me a link".
  3. Open the email, click the link, and press "Sign in" on the page it opens. The link works once and expires in 15 minutes. If it has expired, ask for another. (The extra press is there because some email security systems open every link in a message before you do; opening the link alone doesn't use it up.)

You then stay logged in on that browser for 30 days, or until you press "Log out". Log out on a shared computer.

Now and then the page asks you to tick a box before it sends the link. That's a check that a person, not a script, is asking.

New to Sussed

The login page sends a link only to an address that already has a Sussed account. If you haven't used Sussed before, start by claiming your profile: the claim page asks for your email and sends its own link, and clicking it logs you in.

Which email to use

Use the address you claimed your profile with. Your account, your claimed profile and your introductions all hang off that one address. If you have claimed more than one profile with the same address, all of them appear in your account.

The address introductions are sent to can be different: set it in Settings.

Check your spam folder, and check it's the address you claimed with: an address Sussed doesn't know gets no link. Then ask for another link from the login page. Links to one address are spaced a couple of minutes apart, so wait a moment before asking again.

Clients and logging in

People looking for an adviser don't need an account. A client who has sent a request can log in with the email address they used, and their account shows the request and its progress.
