Who runs Sussed, how we make money, and what we are not. Last updated 8 September 2026.

Who we are

Sussed is run by Miju Ltd, based in Otago, New Zealand. Contact hello@sussed.co.nz or 03 926 6646.

We are not a financial adviser, a financial advice provider, a lender, a mortgage broker or an insurer, and we are not licensed to be any of those. We don't give financial advice, and nothing on this site should be read as a recommendation to use a particular adviser, lender or product.

How we're paid

Advisers pay us a fixed fee only when a client introduced through Sussed signs a lender's loan offer: a set amount when the loan the client told us about is under $500,000, and a higher set amount when it's $500,000 or more, both excluding GST and published on the advisers page. Accepting an introduction costs the adviser nothing, and nothing is owed for a client who doesn't go ahead. Advisers pay nothing to be listed, to be verified, or to appear in a particular position.

Homeowners pay us nothing. We take no commission, referral fee or share of any loan, and we have no financial relationship with any lender.

Because advisers pay us, we have an interest in introductions being accepted. What we don't do about it: we never send a request to more than one adviser at a time, we don't rank advisers by what they pay, and we don't let advisers edit or remove reviews.

About the advisers

Every adviser listed is on the Financial Service Providers Register and gives advice under a financial advice provider licence issued by the Financial Markets Authority. Each is responsible for their own advice and for their own disclosure to you. Licensed advisers must make their disclosure information publicly available; a verified profile links to it, or says it wasn't supplied.

Most mortgage advisers are paid by the lender when your mortgage settles rather than by you. Their disclosure statement explains how they're paid and any fees they may charge.

If something on the site is wrong, use the report link on the profile or email us. If you have a complaint about an adviser, their profile shows the dispute resolution scheme they belong to.
